The popular DIY Network show Blog Cabin is back for season six. See why you should be watching this show and catch the farmhouse kitchen makeover.

The Blog Cabin show concept is based around the idea of “You Design It, We Build It, You Could Win It!” It’s an interactive show that polled viewers online to get their input for building a dream vacation home. Six million viewers voted on various aspects of the renovation project – from kitchen tiles to window treatments. Designers and experts from some of the DIY Network’s hottest shows will be helping to renovate the house and make it the ultimate vacation getaway which one fan will have the opportunity to win.

The home showcased this season is an 1880s Cape-style farmhouse in Waldoboro, Maine located on the scenic Medomak River. The 2,500 square foot, four bedroom, two bath home is getting a complete makeover inside while the waterfront property is getting some much-needed curb appeal outside.

DIY enthusiast Chris Grundy is hosting the transformation over the next few weeks. Tonight the team is tackling the most popular room of the house – the kitchen. With suggestions and features submitted online by bloggers, the currently large, empty space will transform into a dream farmhouse kitchen. Designer and Kitchen Crashers host Alison Victoria will walk us through the transformation featuring custom-built tables from reclaimed lumber gathered from a barn on the property.

Tune in tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT to catch Blog Cabin on the DIY Network.
